The pool is maintained at an average temperature of 32 degrees Celsius, making it safe and comfortable for babies and young children.
Babies have a gag reflex, which helps prevent water from entering their lungs. However, at Happy Swimmers, we always follow a child-led approach, meaning we never submerge a baby who is not ready. Your child's safety and comfort are our top priorities.
There is no strict minimum age, but we recommend starting at 2 months old. If your baby was born prematurely, consult your health practitioner before enrolling.
A comfortable yoga mat, a small blanket for relaxation, water, and an extra set of clothes for little ones. We recommend wearing soft, stretchy clothes that allow free movement.
Our baby yoga classes combine gentle movements, stretches, and relaxation techniques designed for babies and their caregivers. We use famous UK nursery rhymes and songs to guide our yoga adventures, helping babies develop coordination, flexibility, and body awareness.
We use stories, songs, and imaginative play to engage children in fun yoga poses. These classes help with balance, focus, emotional regulation, and physical development in an age-appropriate way.
That's perfectly fine! Our yoga classes are child-led, meaning there's no pressure to perform poses perfectly. The goal is for kids to have fun, explore movement, and enjoy mindfulness at their own pace.
Yes! Parent participation is encouraged, especially in baby and toddler yoga sessions. It's a wonderful bonding experience and helps children feel more comfortable.
A change of clothes, a towel, wipes, and a plastic bag for wet or messy items. We recommend dressing your little one in old clothes that you don't mind getting dirty.

Children explore different textures, materials, and sensory experiences through paint, water, sand, foam, and more. Messy play encourages creativity, fine motor skills, and cognitive development in a fun, hands-on way.
Yes! Babies can explore textures while lying on their tummy or sitting with support. Messy play is all about sensory exploration at each child's individual level.
Very messy—but that's part of the fun! We do our best to keep things manageable, but we recommend bringing extra clothes for both you and your child.
A soft towel or blanket, comfortable clothes for you and your baby, and organic, baby-safe massage oil. We recommend either coconut oil or grapeseed oil. (we can also provide this in class).
Our sessions guide you through gentle, nurturing strokes to help your baby relax, sleep better, and bond with you. We also teach techniques for relieving colic, gas, and teething discomfort.
Baby massage is suitable for newborns up to 12 months old. The earlier you start, the more your baby benefits from the relaxation and bonding experience.
Yes! Both parents or any caregiver (grandparent, nanny, etc.) are welcome. Baby massage is a wonderful bonding experience for everyone involved.
That's perfectly fine! We follow a baby-led approach, meaning you can pause, comfort, feed, or let your baby nap anytime. You can also practice the techniques at home whenever your baby is more receptive.
Nothing special—just yourself and your little one! We provide all materials, including visual aids and songs to help you learn the signs.
We teach parents and caregivers key signs (like 'milk', 'more', and 'all done') through songs, stories, and interactive activities. This helps babies communicate their needs before they can speak, reducing frustration and tantrums.
We encourage babies and parents to start from birth because the parents get used to signing and learn the signs by heart and start communicating signs to baby at home. The ideal age for babies to learn signing is as early as 6 months old but even younger babies benefit from exposure. Most babies begin signing back between 6 to 12 months.
No prior experience is needed! We teach everything in class in a fun and easy way. Parents, caregivers, and even older siblings can join in.
No! In fact, research shows that signing supports language development by helping babies connect words with meaning. Many signing babies speak earlier than their non-signing peers.
